Nora Roberts has never been a favorite of mine, but when I want something easy, her writing has been OK. I thought she generally did a good job of capturing the essence of a place and the people who might live there. And that was enough to…

I was unfortunately a bit underwhelmed by this and it almost 100% stems from the fact that it was too long. If Nora would have cut it down to even 400 pages instead of almost 500, it would have made a world of difference. By the time I got…

certainly better than her latest trilogy series, but still a bit humdrum. Sort of a fun romance story, but needs a bit more suspense. The HAG assassin was stereotypical, as was the collector. Lila, the heroine was likable, as were her…

I enjoyed the story but I couldn't help but imagine a different ending.

This is a fun read. I found the lead male character far more interesting than Lila (female lead) but this is far more of a fantasy novel than mystery and intrigue. Some sections are down right silly but mostly, I couldn't put it down.

I really wanted to like this book, but found the characters to be shallow and boring. Plot was a bit far-fetched, with the characters being stereotypical cliches of good vs. bad. Random trips thrown in, with all of a sudden family…

This was yet another fabulous Nora Roberts novel! The story was lengthy, woven with intrigue, and hard to put down. Definitely a great book for summer.

The story was longer than it needed to be. Some scenarios almost too crazy to be true. Main characters are well written and evenly matched. Always a fan of Nora Roberts books

This is a book where bodies are literally flying. The book starts with Lila, a house-sitter, seeing a body fly out of a high rise. Subsequent events put her and Ashton in grave danger. They navigate it smoothly all the time living…

As always, Nora Roberts delivers a fast-paced, but delightfully in-depth mystery/romance. I don't know how she has packs so much character development and plot twists into one book while still maintaining that light-read feel.
A patron review from the Adult Summer Game: "A fun, easy summer read. Lila witnesses a murder while looking through binoculars into a window. She then gets drawn into a mystery involving two missing Faberge eggs."

I loved this book and thought it was one of Nora's best, right up there with The Witness!

Awesome book! If you like The Search and The Witness (also by Nora Roberts) you will want to read this book.

i read all nora roberts books. i find this one way to drawn out and it could not keep my interest. i stopped reading after awhile because there are way to many books out there that would far out rate this one.
