Really enjoyable for fans of Jane Austen...and, while parts of the ending are predictable, there is a nice little twist.

PW and Booklist praised it. Kirkus Reviews panned it. (August 15, 2014) Got to read it now...

I found this to be a quick, summer read. Loved the suspense and fiction about Jane Austen's early life. Recommend it to everyone.

Enjoyed this but was slow going at first and rather difficult to really get into. The middle part was better but the end to me was pretty predictable. However, I do enjoy any story that involves Jane A and this inspired me to pull out my…

I loved The Bookman's Tale and was very excited to read his newest work. The book is lighter than The Bookman's Tale, but still features an intriguing mystery and romance. The book is told through modern day Sophie and 20 year-old Jane…
