I don't understand how are these movies made. This was a horrible movie, the plot was a complete joke. This is a remake starting from scratch and every time they use a difference actor. My fave cast member was Tobi Mcguire, when S.P. was great.

Fans who don't like changes to old formulas or patterns might not enjoy the differences in this compared to previous Spiderman films, but I found it fun and very enjoyable. It assumes viewers already know Spiderman's origin-story and takes place after the events of 'Captain America: Civil War', so starts a refreshing new chapter instead of rehashing the same material all over again. I enjoyed the new spin on the Vulture villain, the way this Peter Parker looks and lives like a real high school student, and how the cast is more ethnically diverse in a very matter-of-fact way, all of which makes it feel more like real life. Whereas the previous two movie incarnations of Spiderman leaned a bit more towards classic comic-book-style melodrama in many parts (which I say as a graphic novel fan), this version feels more realistic in the way it handles characters' dilemmas, perils, etc. Overall a good addition to the Marvel movie-verse!

My general impression was that Spiderman had been done to death but this version is like a breath of fresh air.
Plenty of humour and a youthful (and diverse) cast keeps it fresh and upbeat. I personally love that there's a lot less CGI and more wirework type stunts too (check out the DVD extras for more on Tom Holland's amazing dance/stunt skills).

This is a 2017 American superhero action drama---the second Spider-Man film reboot and the sixteenth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Directed by Jon Watts, the film shows Tom Holland as Spider-Man (Peter Parker), alongside Michael Keaton and Robert Downey Jr, and focuses on Parker's high school life.
Although Peter Parker nicely tries to balance his high school life with being Spider-Man, while facing the Vulture, his actions don't appear exciting and thrilling.

I think, the kids should like it.

I thought Nothing good be worse or Dumber then LOGAN, Well this Film proved me Wrong! Worst MARVEL film Yet! ACTING: Nonexistent, STORY LINE: Nonexistent, DIALOG: Nonexistent!! Except for the Usual Hollywood Political Statements and Country Bashing!! Complete waste of time!!!! Also I thought BULLYING was supposed to be a BAD thing ? I Guess its OK though if a FOREIGN Kid does it to a WHITE Kid!! SAD MARVEL VERY SAD!!!! :-(

Pretty nice film, But if you're a hardcore Spider-man fan don't take this one so serious. A Must watch

Best spiderman movie ever. It does a great job of capturing the real age of spiderman but doesn't get bogged down in the highschool drama. Michael Keaton's portrayal of the vulture was also very well done.

Great reboot that captures the youth, folly, wonder, joy and mischievousness of the young high schooler Peter Parker as he explores his new Spidey powers. Even the villain is interesting ... wonder if there is a fictitious connection in the world of filmdom to "Bird Man"?

One of the better Marvel films. Long film, but it covers a lot of ground and keeps moving.

Many quotes in IMDb including this:
How do you think your buddy Stark paid for that tower, or any of his little toys? Those people, Pete, those people up there, the rich and the powerful, they do whatever they want. Guys like us, like you and me... they don't care about us. We build their roads and we fight all their wars and everything. They don't care about us. We have to pick up after them. We have to eat their table scraps. That's how it is. I know you know what I'm talking about, Peter.
