when Karen horney died on dec. 4, 1952, she had delivered 5 of her final lectures, so they were on tape. 15 remained, and are lost. " Horney's interest in zen and oriental philosophies finds particular application in the question of the analyst's attention..she found eastern cultures offer something useful in connection with technical considerations."
