The last of triplets, Third Monkey decides not to be like a monkey, but to to be different, and goes adventuring to find out what other creatures are like. When they treat him like a monkey, that is almost the last straw, but then, at a meeting of monkeys, Third's case is examined by his elders and because of his wisdom, independence and extreme monkeyness he is chosen their new leader.
