a truly classic story and keeps you interested throughout the book. a bit hard to read because of the old english language and with that some unusual expressions. much enjoyed reading it.

This is a marvelous book. I enjoyed it as a boy and I recently finished reading it to my 8 year old son, who pronounced it one of his very favorite books. The book deals with a family who works hard together to survive the challenges of life alone on an island after a shipwreck. Adventures and a can-do attitude fill the book. 5-star!

I enjoyed the ending and creativity to build the treehouse with so many functions. I found the part of the ending where they were rescuded a bit dissapointing for such a well written book.

the last time I read this I was about 8 and (somehow) even at that age I loved it, so I'm going back to find out what it was all about...

The Swiss Family Robinson by Johann Wyss is a story about a family who are shipwrecked on an uninhabited island.
The ship was being tossed by angry waves. The whole crew and captain were gone. The only ones remaining on board was the Robinson family. They found an Island and the adventure begins. This is a classic novel.

This book is boring...
