"Once a secret to even the highest government officials, the Suicide Squad has emerged from FOREVER EVIL as one of its most popular programs. Its mission: to send incarcerated super villains to carry out impossible missions on foreign soil in exchange for a commuted prison sentence. If they are caught or killed, no government could link these operatives back to the U.S. government. At least, that's the theory. This new series begins with a mission in Russia that features two red-hot Batman villains: Harley Quinn and Joker's Daughter, plus Deadshot, Deathstroke the Terminator, Black Manta and more"--

I love Ammanada Waller, Harley Queen, and Dead Shot. Black Manta is interesting. All the Suicide Squade Plots are interesting enough to keep us into the mag and flowing each issue but even the individual storylines are enough. you can pick up any issue without missing much. don't see that in comics these days. only wish there was more action, otherwise great book.

A new direction for the team of incarcerated villains doing the dirty work of the government, in the wake of Forever Evil. New members are brought on board for this volume that sends the team on a mission into Russia that doesn't go quite as expected, while Amanda Waller finds herself dealing with a new problem- oversight from another player. The creative team get the tone of the characters right as they throw them into the proverbial cauldron.

I enjoyed this very much. The Suicide Squad never fails as fun & entertaining read. I Would recommend this & any & all of Suicide Squad's comic series, especially from The New 52. Though, Vol. 1: Kick In The Teeth is by far the best.
