Do like this author but did not like this book. Thought it was a bit silly really. There was a place where missing things end up. Should have been labelled "fantasy".

Cecelia Ahern is a newly discovered author for me. All her tales carry a bit of magic in them. This one as well as all of her others is set in Ireland with a cast of wonderful characters. I recommend that you get her books in audio format because the readers all have wonderful Irish accents and I think you'd lose some of the magic without them. Loved this story and the idea of a place where missing things go.

I thoroughly enjoyed the imaginative plot of this novel. The author takes you on a very unexpected adventure. It was a refreshing read that I would highly recommend.

REALLY enjoyed this novel. Had a hard time putting it down, and was constantly thinking about it and reliving parts of the storyline when I wasn't reading. Really strong characters, REALLY really well written. I loved how Ahern kept weaving us back in and out of the story, presenting us with parts of the past and parts of the secondary plotline. Definitely one of my favourites of Ahern's. Will probably read it again. Only sad part is that Sandy didn't end up bringing anyone back home with her. Would have given it a full 5 stars but sometimes Ahern would be a bit too lengthy in her descriptions and I felt it hard to envision as well as read so I often skipped it when it had no bearing on the overall story.

Great book and if you are a fan of Cecelia Ahern then pick it up.

Quirky characters as well as story line. Thoughtful and compelling, this book tells the story of losing things in life...and how we deal with them. This is probably my favorite of Cecelia's offerings so far.
