"New York City is one of the fashion capitals of the world, well-known for its glamour and style. Nowhere is this more apparent than on the runway, where American haute couture continually astounds with its creativity, daring, and innovation in the name of beauty. Yet high fashion means high stakes, as Alex Cooper quickly discovers when businessman and designer Wolf Savage is found dead in an apparent suicide, mere days before the biggest show of his career."--

I like Linda Fairstein's book Killer Look, it was interesting to see a difference in character of Alex, after her kidnapping. She comes back strong in the end. Good book!

Definitely not the best in this series. Occurs very soon after Alex's kidnapping in the previous book. She's on leave to recover from PTSD but manages to involve herself in Mike's latest case courtesy of her fashion knowledge. Good twist at the end which resolves a problem and sets up a new direction for the series. Hope Alex gets some decent treatment for her PTSD and doesn't keep relying on the bottle or cases or clashes with work colleagues to distract herself from it.

I forced myself to finish reading Killer Look. This was definitely a miss. If her next one is this bad, I might give up on reading her again.

Very disappointing;Alex character not very likeable....self absorbed, even selfish in her demands and needs,,,,,this behavior is past off as a result of PTSD.She needs therapy and medication but instead acts like Lucy to Chapman's Ricky.Last page had a good twist which will of course birth the next story.
