Charles C. Burleigh writes to Anne Warren Weston in regards to his "vexation and mortification" at not writing anything in the "Anti Slavery Album" sent to Boston. He explains his decisions and apology behind his delay in writing in it. He hopes he can somehow redeem himself when he visits New England. He writes of lecturing in the South and how he was received well there, and "instead of Lynching me for this visit, the people invited me to pay them another as soon as I can make it convenient."
