Jason Barton writes to Anne Warren Weston in regards to forwarding her one of his Globe Bells, "being a combination of bells, within bells, upon one side of which is the following inscription." He describes these bells in detail. In his postscript he writes that he has commenced inventing "this Bill about eighteen years ago, have expounded more than a thousand dollars but have not found the end of improvements."
