Julia A. Tappan writes to Anne Warren Weston in regards to receiving from Maria Weston Chapman some silk pieced to be stamped. She will immediately send them to the stampers and forward them back to her. She will write to her father to inquire at the Custom House for the box from Glasgow. She recalls receiving money and a message from Ms. Stanton about publications which were forwarded to the Dorchester Society. She has no doubt that Anne will become more and more attached to Angelina Emily Grimke and Sarah Moore Grimke. She has read many of their letters published in the Liberator and the Spectator and writes, "their talents are certainly not confined to speaking. I hope they will do much good in Massachusetts." She writes her thoughts on women's rights.
