Not so much about the science behind the fossils themselves, but a really interesting look at the history of how they were found and how they became famous.

The author has true love for her craft. She tells the story of these skeletons as though they were her dearest friends. It illuminated archaeology with a light usually reserved for memoirs of well-loved celebrities.
