Sama as the first with no plot and some big reveal.

I know it's occasionally silly, occasionally pointless, and occasionally unbelievable, but really it's supposed to be that way. What do you expect from a magician movie that got 34% on Rotten Tomatoes? At least it's entertaining and funny with a great cast. That's all I want from a movie like this, and I definitely got what I wanted.

The first movie was something a bit different so it was passable for a borrow...this one is just a ridiculous endeavour and worst of all is WHO TOLD EISENBERG HE CAN ACT ??..every film he is listed as being in he is worse then the previous one he was one. He has zero likeability and zero believability. Im sure he will be direct to video then gone within 3 years.
As for the movie, still trying to figure out how STUPID some people can be for supposedly being smart people. If you can figure that out then you may appreciate the movie, otherwise you will just be shaking your head going " why did I waste my time with this".
Huge disappointment and Morgan Freeman almost stares at the viewer throughout his onscreen as if to attempt to HYPNOTIZE you into a subliminal message of him saying to you" Im so sorry for this, I needed the payday"...thats how interested he seemed in being part of it.
I do believe the film bombed as well, so hopefully their ILLUSIONS of a series of movies has VANISHED before their eyes.

Not enough reason. But as a movie, it is entertaining.

Excellent follow-up movie. Hopefully they are going to continue the series.

It is like watching a NASCAR accident in slow motion. You know you should look away but can't help but watch the carnage. It's never explained how or why the horsemen have actual magic powers. Yes, they explain a couple tricks but others are literally magic. Second, the "twist" doesn't make sense if you remember the first movie. Third, the horsemen are slightly less bad than the villain. Well, maybe. The villain wants to steal a chip that might actually belong to him, so stealing something that's yours isn't as bad as the horsemen. Fourth, the villain is in complete control, dominating the horsemen and incredibly clever... then gets incredibly stupid and overwhelmed. Fifth, Jesse Eisenberg. Might be the movie I most hated from 2016.
